As provided in R.A. No. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, the State values the dignity of women and children and guarantees full respect for their human rights. The State also recognizes the need to protect their family and members, from violence and threats to their safety and security.
Sarimanok recognizes the rights of all women and children and provides special measures to be taken to ensure their free and easy access to legal aid, focusing on providing potential solutions to problems apropos marriage, adoption, custody, and parental support among others. Also, battered women and neglected children can seek assistance from Sarimanok.


Shari’a means “way” or “path.” It is considered as the way of life by Muslims. Its interpretation is derived from the Qur’an and Hadith in which the Islamic law was formulated. Shari’a Law in the Philippines is governed by P.D. No. 1083, or the Code of Muslim Personal Laws of the Philippines.
Sarimanok provides legal assistance and Shari’a law services ranging from Islamic finance to family matters to Filipino Muslims situated in the Bangsamoro area


Governed by P.D. No. 442 or the Labor Code of the Philippines, employment law deals with the relationship between the employee and employer for whom the employee performs work under certain conditions in exchange for remunerations. Hence, creating reciprocal rights and obligations between employers and employees. The State shall protect labor, promote full employment, provide equal work opportunity regardless of gender, race, or creed; and regulate employee-employer relations.
In case of disputes arising between employers and employees on matters regarding employment, the basic rules of fair play, and equity applies. Here, Sarimanok offers the realization of these rights and responsibilities to both employees and employers in the workforce. Hence, assisting in fields from drafting and negotiating settlements to employment mediation before any formal proceeding commences.

It aims to provide people in the community a better understanding of their legal rights and responsibilities and to empower them to make informed choices.
